After ‘Mungaru Male’ to ‘Mungaru Male 2’, several films with ‘Male’ (rain) rocked Kannada cinema industry. This one is ‘ Maayadantha Male’ launched six years ago and coming before media with completion in this 2016 winter.

This Maayadantha Male by Veeresh Doddaballapura is ‘emotional rain’ that wets the hearts. VB has written story, screenplay and dialogues. He is also heading megaphone. He clarified the delay is because of financial crunch and artists dates not adjusting precisely. It is shot in Bengaluru, Nandi Hills, Honnavara, Gokarna, Moodabidre surroundings.

Patre Ajit is the lead actor with two heroines. Ravichetan was upset because his photographs are not seen in the posters despite playing doctor role and dancing with heroine Bhavana Rao in two songs. Senior actor Sharat Babu says this is coming late but latest in contents. This is father and daughter bondage.

Five songs are composed by Mohan Krishna with 75 musicians. Producer V Mune Gowda says the film Mayadanta Male is in between Mungaru Male and Hingaru Male.

The audio release of this film is slated at Doddaballapura in the presence of century films Telugu actor Balakrishna. The film is hitting silver screen in January. Editor Kemparaju, dance director Height Manju were present at media briefing.

Bhavana and Divya were not present for the media briefing.

Producer Keremallu Badri has taken up the charge of completion. For the film ‘MM’ a song Nerage langa Thottukonda Navilinantha Henne Hele Nanna Preethi Madthiya….was shot in Height Manju choreography. Ajith and Bhavana Rao took part in the song.

‘Maayadantha Male’ was launched in March 2010. AC Mahender is cameraman, Music Mohan has scored music. Kemparaj is editor. Ravi Chetan, Divya, Sharat Babu, Shruthi, Prakash Shenoy, Sihikahi Chandru, Padmaja Rao, Rekha Kumar, Honnavalli Krishna, Sundarasri, Ruthu, Mimicry Rajagopal and others are in the cast.
